So long as you use this knowledge to drive better, and not to cut
more corners on safety because you can now drive more "on the edge" with
the same safety level as before, you _are_ a better driver.
Advanced driver training really ought to be basic driver training.
To get a license in Ontario, you basically have to be warm-blooded.
It ought to take much more training and a more thorough exam.

$a driving school also. Like if you think someone's going to turn, but isn't
$using his signals (now that NEVER happens, does it,) you can get an idea of
$what he's going to do by watching either his steering wheel, or better yet,
$his head. This just doesn't occur to some folks.
Now this _really_ is basic driver training. It's simple defensive
driving. Unfortunately, you can't legislate that people drive this
way, but you could at least legislate that they be _trained_ in it
before getting their license, and you might be able to create an exam
which would test to make sure that at the time of the exam the driver
was using these techniques.
