- Florida Attorney General Opinions -- Interpretations of law issued to government agencies since January 1990, searchable by number or subject.
- Florida Bar Legal Locator -- Search for members of the Florida Bar by name or city.
- Florida Statutes -- Search by keyword or number. Now includes the 1996 supplement.
- Florida Supreme Court -- Decisions since December 1995, searchable by month, keyword or party, from the University of Florida College of Law.
- Judicial Circuits -- The sixth (Pasco, Pinellas) and 13th (Hillsborough). A collection of vision statements, calendars, phone numbers, administrative orders, etc. The Sixth Circuit has an interesting section on the policies and preferences of particular judges.

- Florida Lottery -- A good collection of statistics, including a county by county breakdown of lottery money distributed for education since 1987.

- E-mail address finders -- The White Pages of the Internet. Millions of names and growing. Try Four11 Directory Services or WhoWhere?
- Social Security Death Index -- A Utah publisher has put this popular database on the web. Find out when someone died and the last residence. There are a pile of cautions for using this data, so take the time to read them at the site.
- Switchboard or Yahoo! People Search -- National directories. Yahoo sometimes has unlisted numbers. Note: When searching for St. Petersburg in either one, type "St" without a period.
Politics
- Elections Online -- Campaign contributions, candidates and races, election dates, election laws and more from the Florida Department of State. Note: Campaign contributions are from Fall 1995 to the present. There have been problems with inconsistency and errors. Ask a news researcher for help if you need pre-1996 campaign contributions.
- Florida senators -- Bob Graham and Connie Mack offer biographies, recent press releases and service academy nominations.
