The Lord never lets down anyone who surrenders to Him. SrimannAthamuni prays , using auspicious words, to such a Lord with over flowing knowledge, devotion and renounciation towards worldly desires. He took incarnation only to liberate the ignorant people of this world. It is because of his works , that chEtanas would acquire limitless knowledge and devotion backed by disinterest in worldly desires. Thus in the above three shlokas, Sri AlavandAr pays obiesance to SrimannAthamuni. In the next shloka he prays to Parashara maharshi who gifted us with the spiritual gem Sri Vishnu PurAna that gives knowledge about chEtana, achEtana and Ishwara.
