tAtparyam:

tatvatraya refers to the three fundamental principles namely the individual
souls(chEtana), prakruti(achEtana), and the Supreme Soul (paramAtma) . During
destruction (pralaya), chEtanas and achEtanas attain subtle form within
paramAtma. During creation (srushti) these manifest out . The knowledge about
these fundamental principles and the knowledge about the means to attain
heavenly pleasures (by karmas) and mOksha (by bhakti and prapatti) and several
related truths are described in the gem among scriptures - the SrivishnupurAna
by the sage supreme ParAshara maharshi. I prostrate with great devotion to such
a generous sage .

In this slOka, "gatI:" is meant to convey "archirAdi mArga" - the way to
"paramapada" and "dhoomAdi mArga"- the way to "swargs lOka" The detailed
descriptions can be found in "gatichintanAdhikarana" of srimadrahasyatrayasAra
and Sri Pillai lOkAchAryA's "ashtadasha rahasya" . These are also briefly
described in Srimad BhAgavatham 8 th chapter 24th and 25 th slokas.
