That is not surprising - Chaitanya himself spent 6 months in Sri
Rangam.
Prabhupada guru, Bhaktisiddhanta had high regards for sri sampradaya.
He spent some time in Sri Perumpudur learning Sri Vaisnava liturgies
etc, which he later incorporated into his Gaudiya movement (Source -
Ray of Visnu).
I am of the opinion that sri vaisnavism has a strong influence on the
Gaudiya tradition.

I fully agree with you on this point.
There are emerging many Western sri vaisnava scholars today, like for
e.g , Frank Morales and Rama Raamanujachraya who are successful with
