The Digital Research Initiative The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill ![]() So you're going to graduate and you've grown a bit attached to your web page. Well, according to the UNC Postmaster (postmstr@voltron.oit.unc.edu), six months after you leave, your account is labeled inactive and then deleted after another six months. Don't worry, you've got plenty of options. There are sites on the Internet that will host your homepage for free. There are even sites that will give you free e-mail. Of course, the catch is you've got to have a connection to the Internet in the first place, most likely through an Internet Service Provider, and most ISPs provide you with web space and e-mail anyway. But if you're looking for more web space or another e-mail account to supplement what you already have, then the following sites have what you need.
And here is a list of local and national ISPs you might want to check out. For a more definitive list, point your browser to http://thelist.internet.com/areacode.html.

You break it, you buy it. No real gerbils were harmed in the production of this web page. While the e-mail and web icons used on this page may imply that this page was developed using BeOS, the truth is it wasn't, and I truly regret that.
