Thanks,

See if this and the post that follows it answer your questions:jps wrote:I'm not able to find anywhere to subscribe via RSS. What am I missing?

If not, please ask your question in that thread so we can keep the questions about feeds together.

This other URL works much better for me.Jonathan Robie wrote:

This is happening to me too. I believe it involves a memory setting that limits PHP's use of memory. I don't have shell access to be able to set this myself, I'll open up a ticket and see if I can get it resolved in a day or two.

Jonathan, do you have access to the settings for the RSS feed? I know in ones that are under my own control I can (and have) set them to include the full post in the feed. That would be a nice thing if you got that set up, as it would effectively make the feed look like the old list for those fora to which one is subscribed. It should be available, as it is the twenty-first century, after all.... Thanks for all your work.

When I was on this forum "back in the day" there were no greek fonts to use. SO, now there are. How does one access your greek font for use here?

I don't know how I missed this earlier, but ... I haven't tweaked the RSS feed at all.Kevin P. Edgecomb wrote:Jonathan, do you have access to the settings for the RSS feed? The best way to get a mail feed similar to the old B-Greek digests is to follow the instructions at this link:

I don't understand the question. Can you see Greek properly on our forum web pages? Or are you just asking how to use the same fonts when working locally on your computer?

How about making the default font
a bit bigger?
How about making the default font something that displays the Greek better?
(Palatino Linotype, Times New Roman)
When posting, to change the size, I choose Large, and then edit "size=150" to a smaller number ("a bit bigger" above is at 107).

The appropriate size may depend on your device. I tried to pick defaults that work well on most devices, and verified using browsershots.com. That said, it doesn't work on many Android systems at all, and may not be ideal everywhere.Paul-Nitz wrote:How about making the default font

I use Chrome. I just checked it in IE and it is better. I didn't know a change of browser could do that. Maybe there's a setting in Chrome that would solve it for me. Thanks.
