USS Milwaukee (Cruiser # 21), 1906-1917 --
Views on Board the Ship

The photographs on this page were all taken on 27 April 1916, while USS Milwaukee was in drydock at the Mare Island Navy Yard, California, and more than a month after she was assigned as tender to the Pacific Fleet's torpedo craft. Many of the installations shown in these views, especially the foundry and other shops, and perhaps the store rooms, appear to have been recently added to the ship to allow her to better perform this function.

This page features photographs taken on board USS Milwaukee (Cruiser # 21).
