here is some info from a local company that i found.......

VAM-Oz
VA Mycorrhizas + Functional Gel

VAM-Oz Inoculant is a preparation to aid the establishment of transplants
(vegetables, flowers, trees and shrubs), and plantings in dry conditions or
poor soils. VAM-Oz is a powder containing a starch based water holding
polymer and spores of Endo Mycorrhizal fungi of the species Glomus
intraradices. The powder also contains nutrients and bio-stimulants that
assist plants in the first weeks following germination or transplanting.
The synergistic effect of this combination makes a very powerful and
economical aid to improving plant establishment and growth.

The Endo Mycorrhiza spores and propagules invade the root system of the hos=
t
plant and then grow out of the roots and into the soil. Many scientific
studies have demonstrated that Glomus intraradices have a positive effect o=
n
the growth of plants, transporting nutrients and moisture back to the host
plants root system. The fungus has also been associated with solubilisatio=
n
of nutrients and increases in root mass. Most plant species have this
relationship with mycorrhizae fungi and colonization of the roots improves
plant growth dramatically.
Horticultural and farming practices such as fumigation using soil
sterilants, application of soil fungicides, composting and heat-treating
potting mix, long fallow periods, frequent cultivation and high levels of
ammonia based fertilizer, all have been demonstrated to reduce the survival
of indigenous Mycorrhiza fungi in soil.

Contains: VA Mycorrhiza fungi of the species Glomus intraradices, (30
spores or propagules/gram) combined with a starch based polymer and
bio-stimulants.

Transplanting:

Sprinkle about one teaspoon of powder in the bottom of the planting hole
prior to planting.

Mixing into Potting Mix:

Blend into potting mix at 1 to 2 Kg/ m3
Two teaspoons per 150 mm pot.

Lawn and Turf:

Spread the dry powder evenly over the soil before incorporating to a depth
of 25mm prior to planting seed or laying turf. Incorporate with a tyned,
disc or rotary hoe implement. Apply 1Kg / 100m2.

Vegetables Pre plant or side banding:
Mix into dry fertilizer and apply at approximately 2 grams/ linear metre.

Root Dip:

Mix 250 grams of dry powder with 20 litres of water. (Three heaped
table spoons, 62g per 5 litres of water). Mix during application. Dip
plants root system in the liquid following digging and prior to
transportation. 20 litres of gel will treat up to 500 small plants as a roo=
t
dip.

Tonic for non performing trees and shrubs:
Dig into the soil around the drip line of the tree or shrub. Use 10
grams (2 teaspoons) per small shrub and 50 to 100 grams per large tree.
Water in well following incorporation.

Storage and Handling:

VAM-Oz Inoculant is a stabilized live biological product and should be
handled and stored accordingly. Best stores at 4oC to 10oC. Do not freeze=
.
Do not allow powder to become damp during storage. Shelf life of product =

2 years.

VAM-Oz Inoculant is non-pathogenic and regarded as non-harmful to people,
animals and plants.

Quality Assurance:

VAM-Oz Inoculant is produced in Australia using strict quality assured
procedures and all batches are tested and approved prior to release.
