There are a number of opinions here. Some claim better extraction and
use it in the brewing process. Others like Jason and myself add the
yucca to the tea just before it's used as a soil drench. Some also
consider it a good sticker for foliar applications. All use it for
the sapponin component and at least one vendor sells it as a cure for
carpal tunnel, high cholesterol, and more than a few other
undocumented claims.
