Hi Stuart - Yeah, you can pay by trial and error (my favorite) or pay for s=
omeone else's work and buy their machine. Not that I've figured it all out=
but wanting to know enough to get confused is part of the process for sure=
. You're at the right place to learn about this I think.

Best wishes - Dave

That's why we pay people to design machines. Pay! Oh, is that the way it =
works? :o}

I'm trying to design my own for two good reasons: -
  There aren't any UK machines.................yet.<I can dream>.
Any imports are liable for 17.5% tax, + maybe a duty <my wallet hurts>.

So the incentive is there but my knowledge base isn't. Lots to learn, and=
sort the wheat from the chaff.

  Be well

Stuart - That's why we pay people to design machines. Put all the info=
on one page, read it over, then go buy a pump. It'll probably work fine.

Can we keep this thread going........I'm thoroughly confused about ox=
ygenation now!

What with shear, simple aquarium air pumps vs. $500+ 1/3 HP blowers, =
and big bubbles vs. small bubbles, and shallow tanks vs. deep ones.......ar=
rgggh. What do I need? Does anyone have any definitive answers that will st=
and up to scrutiny or are these opinions? (bearing also in mind that air =
= 21% oxygen, 70+% nitrogen......)

      # I'm forever blowing bubbles, pretty bubbles in the air.............=

There are different kinds of diffusers. www.aquaticeco.com has a
good selection. From coarse to ultra-fine bubble size. I got the
medium bubble stones for my home made brewer.
