Jeff asked for the rate of growth of fungi in tea.

Fungi start at un-detectable levels in compost tea at the start of the
brewing cycle. And we want a MINIMUM of 2 ug, preferably higher, by the end of the
brew in 12 to 24 hours.

So, growth rate is quite amazing in teas, but they need proper oxygen, good
foods and the right habitat - which means a surface on which they can attach
and grow.
