Hi Judy-

Well, I have no data at all on this one! Can you track down a life cycle for the pest? It can't spend it's whole life in the leaf, so the control point(s) is(are) someplace/time other than once the mite starts causing damage.

So, if you track down the info on the life cycle, I'll be happy to brainstorm with you on how to think through the possible biology.
