Especially true of pre-activated compost. As to the portable lab.
It would be fun to have that. While I expect to do some testing at
Corvalis, once a system recipe (s) is established it will be little
different than single batch production. Other safeguards - we design
the system with so much, so effective aeration, that hazard is no
longer lurking around each bew. Food and time, both easily measured,
will be known, DO2, extraction and circulation will be essentially
unlimited. Application will be directly from the brewer so
the "liveley" microbes will have O2 and food all the way to their new
home. All subject to final testing / leaf assays. Any
suggestions? Bob

No suggestions Bob cause I don't have any standard testing methods
other than a few for food plating(and we don't plate here), a few
direct microscopic for milk and cheese starter, the compost tea
manual and this archive. As I've said before it seems you'd want to
standardize the amount of compost in each batch of AACT (during
research)and to do this you would need to add a weighed (or mass)
amount each time, on dry basis actually. Do you pack the gallon of
compost, spoon it in,etc, etc? To minimize these differences(under
research conditions) I'd weigh it. I KNOW you're not baking HOWEVER,
you're working with LIVE science and many variables. Happy new
year. Remember I have no suggestions and only the above input cause
you're doing the footwork and paying the bills. Dennis
