Yes, Dennis. I started using weights but changed to volume (gallon) measure because the weight changed with moisture content. Especially true of pre-activated compost. As to the portable lab. It would be fun to have that. While I expect to do some testing at Corvalis, once a system recipe (s) is established it will be little different than single batch production. Other safeguards - we design the system with so much, so effective aeration, that hazard is no longer lurking around each bew. Food and time, both easily measured, will be known, DO2, extraction and circulation will be essentially unlimited. Application will be directly from the brewer so the "liveley" microbes will have O2 and food all the way to their new home. All subject to final testing / leaf assays. Any suggestions? Bob
