I use a Spencer 1000x. It isn't their top of the line but I can see most s=
tuff. Look around online for used microscopes. You can find some good dea=
ls. Really good scopes cost up to $20K but unless you are interested in se=
tting up a whole lab, you probably don't need that kind of power. You can =
get great scopes for $500 - 600. Mine, an older model, still does everythi=
ng I want. It was $275 used.
