Guano works quite well in tea, just please be certain that the guano has been composted, or allowed to age a significant time. Guano is bird manure, and needs to be composted, just like chicken manure. Generally guano is not collected util it is well dried, and so, aged.
Pasteurization or sterilization of some kind is typically required for most guano coming from outside the US, so pathogens are not as much a concern as with non-composted, fresh manures.
