Ted - is there more than one specie of fungus? Do they all live well together? Bob

Hi Ted

Apple scab is caused by the fungus, Venturia inaequalis. Maybe this is a terminology thing, but if something zaps or outcompetes a fungus does that make it a pesticide?

We used ACT alone on a small orchard that had scab. Reduced it to near zero in one application early in the spring. I think NWFruit club has some reports on the subject too. Bob

Are you suggesting that ACT acted as a pesticide?
