Thanks for sharing your experience in greater
detail.

In my experience with holistic graziers, they sure
enjoy observing, learning, and improving their forages
and herd health.

It is obvious you are gaining a lot of perspective and
enjoying the benefits from Holistic Management and soil
and forage management to raise a healthy herd.

It is interesting how compost teas have helped
improve your forages and effected animal
performance.

Here is another item for your toolbox. You probably
have this in print already, but here is the whole
series of articles in PDF.

In 2004, Jerry Brunetti published a series of articles
in Acres U.S.A. that thoroughly explain "funny proteins"
and why they are an indicator of poor nutrition.

True Protein vs "Funny Protein"

There might be some of this effecting your forage quality
and meat quality, as well.
