[compost_tea] Re: protozoans before and after brewing

Im not sure I have it straight. You say "protozoa might be higher in
the early extraction cycle" why?. I would think protozoa are
extracted and then they die for some reason. On the other hand,I
dont think there might be lack of oxygen, bacteria are high but not
extremely.
As for the microscope results, the tea is good (>500 bct all fields,
3 protos, 1 hyfa on 20 field evaluation), but still quite bacterial.
I dont think then lack of oxygen is the problem.  Would too much
movement sound like possible ? What would you think Elaine?

hear reports from users with Microscopes.

but protozoa and fungi take longer.

may follow the pattern you see of protozoa.   If you want higher
fungi and protozoa you may want to shorten the cycle.  Your scope
will help select a cycle that does what you want.

Don't know the optimum but Hope to have enough testing and with a
scope to know what to suggest.  Your help is very welcome.  Bob
