The topic of structured water was introduced and a
resource list on vibrational water was mentioned,
but I never saw relevant links or resource pointers.

In a compost tea discussion, the quality of water
is relevant.

Are there alternative water concepts and water
treatments that can effect compost teas, especially
influencing microbial and mineral components?

>From a microbial technology viewpoint, I think it
is relevant that the manufacturers of EM (Effective
Microorganisms) organisms use structured water
through the use of EM ceramics.

Interestingly, Japan is a source for many of the
alternative water concepts and water treatments.

The following Vibrational Water resource list was
compiled for the National Water Center, a grass-roots
effort in nearby Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  I put
this together a few years ago to provide references
for exploring alternative water concepts and treatments,
including various aspects of subtle energy.

On the topic of water and energy, especially
see references to Theodore Schwenk and Viktor
Schauberger in the NWC resource list.

Vinny Pinto's comments below on structured water
are worth reading from the perspective of one who
is open to alternative technologies, but approaches
each claim and data source with scrutiny.

Electrolyzed water is another alternative water
treatment gaining interest in medical and agriculture
fields.  Much of the early research was also done in
Japan.

It so happens that Vinny Pinto also provides viewpoints
and details on electrolyzed water in the following piece.

The following article provides useful background
on altered and structured water.

Hugh Lovel, the biodynamic farmer and researcher,
posted notes about his trip to Japan where he
explored Sosei Water to the Sanet email list in
April 2000.

Pi water is related to structured water, and also
originates in Japan.

See:

Pi-Water

Water as a carrier of information, due to its polar
nature and ability to function as magnetic tape,
is a common theme in pi water / structured water.

Dr. Higa talks about the importance of structured water
and EM ceramics in his book "An Earth Saving Revolution II."

Finally, the other key source from Japan is
Masaru Emoto's work with Messages from Water,
the ice crystal photographs that have amazed
the world.

I'm posting these resources in good faith they might
interest readers and perhaps spark an idea that will
feed back into compost tea research and development.

Best wishes,

Steve Diver
