Brian,
Old World Roses (what we call Antique Roses), especially established ones,
should be able to shake off the effects.
If possible, I would enjoy a list of the roses present.
A Biological Farm Consultant, Thomas Harr, in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas
has tremendous success treating herbicde damage with a concoction of his
own.
40% Fish
40% Compost Tea
7% Humic Acid
7% Seaweed
7% Calcium/Boron(Chelated liquid 6% Ca, 0.5% Boron)
Adjust for mathmatical deviation.
Hope this helps.

Subject: [compost_tea] Roundup + Roses
Can you offer some advice please. In our town here in Timaru NZ we
have a rose garden of over 1200 old world roses. It appears the
contractor has used roundup to spray the white pebble pathways and
consequently there has been considerable spray drift which has
seriously effected the roses. Can aerated compost tea help ? either
as a foliar or soil drench ? should we add extra fungal compost to
the soil around the roses ? or is it too late for those effected
roses ? Any comments or suggestions would be much appreciatd.
Regards
