Bob,

How is this measured? O2 measured by O2 meter Other measures as stated in table. Are you data logging? O2 Data was logged during each test, not often by computer recording.

How often are your readings? Readings were typically at 5 minute intervals on computer . Early readings were manual less often, sometimes hours apart. .

How does the tea test if there is a short drop and recovery? Are you asking about O2 drop, then recovery? Can't claim to have enjoyed that ideal action. O2 readings have been difficult to get the neat curve, drop and O2 rise that follows nutrient and propagation rates. O2 readings have started at 8+, dropping to 6.5 to 5.7 and rising near the end of the cycle but seldom follwed the ideal curve that describes the ideal consumption of nutients. ACT tests were with SFI at the end of the cycle plus 24 + hours. These are the only part of the tests we have collected. It would sure be nice to have a staff and perfect equipment and budget to pursue this entire subject in the manner it deserves. The tests using the quantities noted, tests at SFI and brews run by many besides my own show good results in the ACT reports and even better in the field reports Bob

Thanks,

Tom

O2 meter as 6 mgO2 per liter of ACT while brewing.
