Hi Jerry- Coyote Crek rings a bell. I think you have a BobOLator? Are you aware of what your neighbor in Texas, Betsy Ross has done with compost TEA on her pastures? Per Elaine microbes of the soil food Web will do much of what you are seeking to do. And help you do what you are planning If you have followed her work you know. If not I can tell you a little about it if you ask. Bob.

Does it leave a salt residue when applied to pasture land in conjunction with ACT?

I am contemplating putting 100 lb. per acre of Calcium Carbonate / Dolomite on my pasture, which is certified Organic by the State of Texas and USDA - does this endanger my certification?

The resons that I want to apply some calcium are that I just chisled, disced, and harrowed the ground to prepare to plant Gamma grass, therefore I need to replenish and reestablish my fungal colonies. Also I am in a heavy clay soil and it needs to be floculated.

Please comment and suggest.
