Contact the Luebke's or one of their practitioners. They can give you much=
more information about this process than I can.

  Hi Ted -

Could you send your data about compost and lack of E. coli in that compos=
t, using your methods, to the NOSB, specifically, Owusu Bandele?

The NOP needs to hear that making compost using the right methods clearly=
results in no E. coli problems.

Steve - anyone else you would recommend Ted sending data like this to?

    Hi Ted -

For clarity, Luebke compost is a typical windrow
compost that goes through a thermophilic
stage. It is mixed with a compost turner --

    Steve:

Ok. Thanks for the clarification. I wrote them and got back a bunch of=
information on cold composting which is what I was interested in establish=
ing because of the small pile size and lack of need for high temps. Their c=
orrespondence to me warned about EPA certification using that method. I jus=
t assumed that the method they sent me and I incorporated was the same acro=
ss the board. I have been doing it for about 1 1/2 years now and have had =
the compost tested for pathogens at our WWTP with ND results. I get these =
readings even using manures. I haven't taken a class from them or one of t=
he practitioners but wish I could. I think they have done more research an=
d "development" as far as composting is concerned than anyone else.
