Re: More info on Roundup use, effects & hazards (URLs)

On looksmart search for wastenot newsgroup. It is #10 of 10. You can read
a little bit about what it is. To subscribe send a request to
listserv@maelstrom.stjohns.edu They get pretty technical on this list
which posts directly to your email address. The article about the corn is
Pollen from gene-altered corn often kills monarch butterflies posted on May
20, 1999 7:38AM by Phil Fredericks pfj@NWARK.COM Sometimes the messages are
in MIME format. I was fascinated by the infor about "mud" being an antidote
for overspray of Roundup. And more importantly the surfactant is the
culprit. Is this surfactant used in other commonly used consumer available
products?

There is also a soils newsgroup SOILS-L@crcvms.unl.edu but I'm not sure if
that is the address to which you send a subscription request.
