<OMF:Submission Template >

This page offers access to tools for creating OMF records and for contributing to the OMF repository. Each link below will generate a fill-in form with slightly different configurations of options, fields, etc. To create a record, select the link that looks most appropriate for your documentation needs. Then you can customize the form as you fill it out.

If you want to read about these elements, you can find the full OMF specification at http://metalab.unc.edu/osrt/omf/omf_elements

Template Styles

  • Plain Vanilla Template: This template contains most OSSDoc fields, with several of the most common elements repeated several times (you can always leave these blank).
  • Version History Template: Same as the Vanilla template, but with the option to represent a version history in your XML record.
  • Long Language List: Same as the Vanilla template, but with a much longer list of languages to describe your document's content language.
