HBSP on Dec. 4

Hi Carolinabirders,
Yesterday, Dec. 4 in the afternoon, Paul Rogers and I birded at Huntington
Beach S.P., Georgetown County, SC, after a glance into Mullet Pond and the
marsh at high tide we proceeded to the North Parking lot and walked to the
jetty pond and jetty. Our hope was for scoters and long-tailed duck but no
luck. 32 species as follows:

Horned Grebe-3
N. Gannet-10
Brown Pelican-30
Great Cormorant-3 on the channel marker at the end of the jetty

seen over Mullet Pond and the marsh.

parking lot.
Yellow-rumped Warbler-2 heard only. The mob of Yellow-rumps formerly in
the myrtle near the North parking lot seem to have moved on with the cold
weather of the last two weeks
Common Grackle-1 Where did the Boat-tailed go?

Good company, Good birding.
