RE: Orange-tailed Waxwings

In an effort to ward of West Nile virus carrying mosquitoes, some cedar
waxwings have begun to treat their tails and wings with wax from citronella
candles which is orange. Crows and blue jays prefer to use skin-so-soft,
while most herons and egrets have a strong preference for deep woods off.
