"sparrow field"

Hi Carolinabirders,
Yesterday, Bob Maxwell and I birded that "sparrow field/clearcut" near
Samworth WMA in the afternoon. We found six species of sparrow including
one LINCOLN'S. Most of the sparrows seem to be in the south field. There
were two suspects that may have been Henslow's but couldn't get a good look
at them as the rascals scooted through the grass. When they did fly they
only went a short way and then back into the grass. By the numbers the
rank was Savannah, Swamp, Song, Field, and White-throated which was only
along the edges near the wooded areas.

Good birding, Good company.
