Savannah NWR, 2.17.01

I birded Savannah NWR yesterday, mostly in hopes of finding the Cinnamon
Teal and White-faced Ibis, both of which are still there in Impoundment 16.
The Teal stands out well against the N. Shovelers it was congregating with;
the Ibis also gave great views, only about 30 feet away. Other birds:

Pied-billed Grebe
Double-crested Cormorant
Anhinga
Great Blue Heron
Great Egret
Snowy Egret
Little Blue Heron
White Ibis
Glossy Ibis
Green-winged Teal

Mourning Dove
Great Horned Owl (nestled in the crotch of one of the big oaks a the
entrance)
Red-bellied Woodpecker

Carolina Chickadee
Eastern Bluebird
American Robin
N. Mockingbird
