is the Journal of Happiness Studies. It makes me unhappy that it can’t be read online by everyone. Do we all deserve happiness? Are we only allowed to pursue happiness but not to capture it?
Luckily the World Database of Happiness is available for free. The USA is in the top 20 happiest countries, but not in the top 10. The happiest countries are: Denmark, Switzerland, Iceland, Austria and Finland. They can’t be happy about the weather.
Finland is in the top 10? Even with the Helsinki Complaints Choir?? 🙂
They should be happy; the Finns did win the Eurovision Song contest this year thanks to Lordi. At least one complaint answered.
How could I forget Lordi were Finns?? Shame on me.
They should invite Lordi to join the Complaints Choir, at least for one song… that would be … aROCKalyptic!
Hard Rock Hallelujah [video] and Would you love a monsterman? (don’t you understand the beauty of the beast?) [audio]. Who could complain about any of that? That’s their best.
Finland’s contribution to mankind can probably be summed up as : Lordi & Nokia 🙂
Let’s not forget Nokia product repertoire has included hit products like toilet paper, rubber boots, tires (or as Simon & I would say “tyres”), monitors and of course cellphones.

Virtual Finland explains Finnish happiness here.
But really Sayan how could you not credit Finn Linus Torvalds for creating Linux.
