Old friend, Andie Miller, published an interview with South African writer Phaswane Mpe in the Mail and Guardian. Mpe, who died this past year at age 34, is one of South Africa’s most promising and most interesting post-aparheid writers. Andie and Mpe focus on his life as a reader and the surprising books that he says helped change his life.
