Michael Tiemann’s Reading List

Those of you who attended the Fred Kilgour Fest will have noticed that Michael Tiemann is a voracious reader and that that reading informed his talk well.

I asked Michael if he had a reading list or references to the books mentioned in his talk. He’s responded with this link which I think many of us will find interesting and useful.

If you are interested in Kilgore Trout, his “Venus on the Half-Shell” is not to be missed.

But is it available? After that book took off, Vonnegut raised a big stink and you can only find the odd used copy. I have one. Not for sale. Philip Jose Farmer is Kilgore Trout as far as I’m concerned. Vonnegut writes about Trout. Farmer is Trout.

No recommended and probably not read by Michael Tiemann tho.
