capturing the Y2K moment



Along the lines of trying to capture snapshots of the Web, an interesting site is
http://208.11.77.166/biglist.htm

It's an online collection of screenshots from sites affected by Y2K.  Most of them are far from exciting in themselves (just regular pages with a date presented incorrectly).  But it provides a case of trying to capture evidence of a portion of the Web at a given point in time.
