Subject: Policy Questions, Round II
This may end up becoming a series.
Again, for the purposes of internal policies, I'd like to know if archives are
charging patrons for their time. (Answers off-list, please)
I'm NOT interested in charges for photocopying and scanning, but actual payment
for the staff's time. Are you charging? If you are, are you charging by the
hour? By the project? How much are you charging? Do you have a sliding scale,
depending on the project, the user, etc.?
PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME AN EMAIL SAYING "ME TOO".
I don't have time to keep track of everyone's request anyway; keep your shirts
on, and when I have enough responses to make it worth the effort, I'll summarize
to the list.
