Re: inquiry



More archival supply catalogues are showing half-size records cartons -- legal or letter-size length, but half the
width of a standard record carton.
As someone who started a small records/archives program with standard records cartons-- and who had to hire staff
for this facility -- I now believe that using the smaller cartons as much as possible and using shelving that
accomodates it increases the potential employee pool.
And I'm not getting younger either.
Otherwise, employers will have to hire employees who can handle 50 pound cartons.  Maybe the CA test will need a
weight-lifting test, too?
