archives budget

ok, i have 500 bucks to purchase supplies for a new archive (community
college). MOre funding will appear in July but i was wondering what kinds
of materials i should stock up on early. Most of the collection is still
in the hands of administration and faculty so i am not sure exactly how
much stuff will be flowing in. I have been warned that a tidlewave of
documents is quickly approaching as everyone is gearing up to move to the
new campus. With that in mind should i buy up acid free folders and
continue to use the boxes i have. Then when more funding comes replace the
boxes. what would be a good strategy?

By supplies i mean: Hollinger boxes, file folders, hanging files, artifact
hollinger boxes (only a few items), photographic archives (a rather large
collection that is added to on a weekly basis)

help me out

thanks
