The Women's History and Resource Center (WHRC) of the General Federation of Women's Clubs (GFWC) is searching for an Archives/Library Assistant. GFWC is a volunteer women's organization founded in 1890. The WHRC contains the archives of  GFWC and a library relating to women's history with an emphasis on women in volunteerism.

Varied duties include processing and accessioning of archival records, assisting in updating of finding aid, responding to reference requests, performing OCLC and Access cataloging, and handling administrative duties. Assistant also serves as docent for tours of headquarters building.

Qualifications:

B.A. in History, Women's Studies, or related library/archival coursework or experience desired. Knowledge of MS Access, Fox Pro, InMagic, OCLC and WWW.

Salary:
