Re: corporate archives



As what is on this side of the border referred to as a RIM (recorded
information management) consultant, I proceed as does Peter....and it would
be interesting to find out how many of the "firms" have worked in archival
endeavours before pursuing a consultancy.  I remember well working with a
variety of consultants in my previous incarnations....some very good and
cooperative, some not quite that way...perhaps it is a combination of
personal ethics and, in keeping with what I was getting at above, a good
understanding of what the record folk in our clients are up against that
leads to exceptions....
