Re: Diaries: National Guard on the Border



Dear List,

     I am just a MLS student in the Indiana Univ. program and a recent
lurker to this forum but, prior to this life, I spent a couple of years in
southern Arizona---Fort Huachuca, Az., to be exact.  There is an excellent
museum there with a professional staff who can help with this question.  I
am sure that they can help identify what units from what states were
serving along that section of the border during the time frame being
looked at.  Being an historian myself, it seems to me that once the units
and states are locked down [IF any were there] then contacting the
individual state National Guard organizations would naturally follow.
But, really, I believe that the people at Fort Huachuca can help.
