The City Archives and Records Division, Henderson, NV, is recruiting for a Records Analyst.  This position is open to applications from anywhere in the country. RECORDS ANALYST

THE CITY OF HENDERSON ANNOUNCES EXAMINATION TO CREATE AN ELIGIBILITY LIST FOR THE CLASSIFICATION OF *RECORDS ANALYST* TO FILL AN ANTICIPATED VACANCY IN THE RECORDS MANAGEMENT SECTION OF THE CITY CLERK* S OFFICE.  NOTE:  THE RESULTING ELIGIBILITY LIST WILL BE UTILIZED TO FILL VACANCIES IN THIS CLASSIFICATION FOR ONE (1) YEAR.

OPENING DATE:  Thursday, April 13, 2000
CLOSING DATE:  Thursday, May 11, 2000, at 5:00 p.m.

SALARY:  $36,903.84 * 48,528.56/ year

THE JOB:  Under general supervision, performs and coordinates work involved in the implementation and maintenance of the Citywide records program; performs other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor*s Degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years of experience in archives and records management, OR an equivalent combination of closely related training and experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:  Must possess a valid Nevada Driver*s License at the time of appointment and maintain a satisfactory driving record.

SELECTION PROCESS:  The selection process will consist of an application screening and an oral review board. Those candidates determined to be the most qualified, based on the application screening, will be invited to participate in the oral review board.  It is the responsibility of candidates with a disability requiring an accommodation in the testing process to contact the Human Resources Department to request such an accommodation prior to the closing date of this recruitment.  Appointment subject to successful completion of background investigation and City-paid, pre-employment, post-offer physical examination, including drug test.
