(Fwd) building telephone lines or electric poles

Whoops! I think I just forwarded this same message sans
comment; sorry about that! I was going to say that it isn't even
Friday, but then this is a real live patron request. Any shovel
and/or tool archivists out there?

Subject: building telephone lines or electric poles

I have recently acquired a shovel with a very long handle. My
father-in-law (age 92) found this shovel by a telephone or electric
pole
in the late 30's in central Nebraska. Where can I look for more
information? Thank you, Arline Adams
