Re: Reference Hours



In addition to what others have said on this topic, I like to stress the
advantages for the researcher. If they make an appointment and give a brief
summary of their purpose, I can have things ready for them. Also, by having
that advance conversation, I may be able to tell them I have little or
nothing to offer that would warrant a visit.
