Re: Box labels

Periodically the issue of archival quality box labels emerges on this list.
My suggestion would be to contact the following company
http://www.averydennison.com/ad/home.html

Why? they are the largest manufacturer of pressure-sensitive labels. If they
knew that there was a potential market for such a product they would produce
it. They also supply a software package for use with MS WORD to create your
own label headings, address labels, etc. VEry useful. Or SAA might want to
discuss the development of such a product.

Finally you can always contact a local decal manufacturer as they produce
anything that must be stuck on something. THE KEY ingredient is the
adhesive. The labels that are falling off are probably not the correct ones
to use in your environment. A good manufacturer's rep will be able to assist
you in determining the appropriate size, adhesive type etc for your
environment.
