Seville 2000: SAE Programme of Events

The Steering Committee of the Section is organising 3 events at the International Congress on Archives in Seville, 21-26 September 2000:

  1. Archival Education: the State of the Art

    1 Day Symposium, 19 September, 10.00-17.30, Bahia Room

  2. Teaching Aids - Showcasing the IRMT Management of Public Sector Records Teaching Modules

AGORA Session, 21 September, 16.00-17.30, Auditorium

  1. ICA/SAE General Assembly

23 September, 14.00-16.00, Ronda Room

Please note that the date of the symposium is the 19th September, not the 20th, and for logistical reasons, this is before the main congress programme begins.

TEACHING AIDS - SHOWCASING THE IRMT MANAGEMENT OF PUBLIC SECTOR RECORDS TEACHING MODULES

AGORA session organized by the Section on Archival Education and Training of the International Council on Archives (ICA/SAE)

Seville, Conference and Exhibition Centre, Auditorium

21 September 2000, 16.00-17.30

This is a joint session with the International Records Management Trust to launch the modules to ICA members, as well as present some of the SAE products. It will include:

  • launch of IRMT modules;
  • launch of databases;
  • re-launch of website;
  • advertise listserve;
  • launch bibliography.
