Re: Panama-Pacific Expo

The records of Minnesota governors Eberhart and Hammond each include a file
on the expo (which was held in 1915). Mostly regarding attempts
(unsuccessful) to raise funds for a state exhibit, travel arrangements for
the state's delegation to the expo, and naming of James J. Hill as the
outstanding Minn. citizen to be honored thereat -- but a little literature
about the expo in general. There is probably a similar file among the
governors' records of many other states. I would bet the California State
Archives has something more substantive.
