M B Dunhouse and Massachusetts Library of Last Recourse City of Boston Public Library Special Collections Departments

M. B. Dunhouse and her colleagues have not complied with
state and local freedom of information principles with
respect to archival collections of our Massachusetts
Library of Last Recourse City of Boston Public Library
Special Collections Departments.

Collections have been misrepresented by omitting known
information about the range and extent of collections even
though some librarians are knowledgeable. Responsibilities
for access have been passed back and forth and back again by
referring public library users/customers/consumers to
administrative offices like the president's offices where
there no one is available readily enough with information
about BPL archival collections and no one has a willing
unfettered attitude with the public.

The trust and responsibilities we have put in our BPL
officials have been broken. Some individuals of our BPL
board have not trusted the BPL president Bernie Margolis for
misrepresenting public library transactions.

Many people have been aware of lowered expectations of robust
customer services when it involves our Massachusetts Library of
Last Recourse City of Boston Public Library departments like
interlibrary loan and special collections.
