Re: Dutch Elm Disease



Alright, enough already.  It may just be me, but I think the inquiry has
been answered and we have gotten off the subject a little.  I've learned
more about American elms (Ulmus Americana) and Dutch Elm disease than I ever
wanted to know!

By the way (just to be facetious) if the Dutch Elm Beetle was the cause of
the Dutch Elm Disease but there aren't actually "Dutch" Elms, where did the
beetle get its name?  Maybe the Dutch scientists who found the Beetle in the
Elms wanted to make sure they were remembered.
