Re: Plastic paper clips

I think you'll find that prices on certain products -- like plastic clips --
are lower at places like Staples or Office Max than in an archival
catalogue. Acco is fine. We also use a small piece of folded, acid free
paper as a buffer between the clip and the document. Sometimes plastic
clips have sharp little "bubbles" or edges that might put a document at
risk.

I used to work at the Dr. Albert B. Sabin archives at the University of
Cincinnati, and we were instructed there to use folded sheets of acid-free
paper.
